First previewed last October, Virgil Abloh’s latest collaboration with Nike has finally been officially unveiled: The Off-White x Nike Air Zoom Tempo NEXT% pack will consist of three vastly different colorways and will likely be one that many sneakerheads will be looking to add to their ever-growing collections. The Virgil Abloh Off-White design for one of Nike’s most innovative running silhouettes has been reimagined, framed by deconstructed elements and graphics with a handcrafted feel. Inspired by prototypes and runners worldwide, rubber spiked outsoles are a nod to race day on the track. In classic Off-White fashion, the shoe’s technology is marked by bold text callouts, with detailed production specs stamped on the shoe’s medial side.
First up is the “Black/Scream Green” variation that’s been circulating for a while now, with the contrasting colorway ideal for standing out on the streets. Two brand-new equally eye-catching models titled “Pink Glow” and “Solar Red” are part of the new collection. All three pairs are crafted from ultra-lightweight knitted uppers which point to the track and field inspiration here, with hand-painted Nike Swoosh logos adorning both the lateral and medial sides alongside the classic Off-White Helvetica branding. Other notable features include a toggle-fastening lacing system and color-matched zip ties. This all sits on top of Nike’s industry-leading NEXT% midsole technology, meaning these are fully functioning running sneakers.
