Nike and SOULGOODS have introduced the Homescape Woven, a new silhouette that pulls from the Footscape lineage and pushes it into more outdoors-minded territory. Rather than simply bringing back the Footscape Woven, the Beijing-based retailer and Nike have used its asymmetrical lacing and woven side detailing as a starting point for something stranger, sturdier, and more relaxed.

The debut “Dark Field Brown and Medium Orewood Brown” colorway gives the shoe a deliberately earthy palette, with a premium mix of leather and shaggy suede across the upper. The woven panels remain the visual anchor, wrapping the shoe with the hand-worked look that made the Footscape Woven such an oddball favorite in the first place. Round laces, toggle hardware, and co-branded details add to the utility-forward feel without turning the sneaker into a full hiking shoe.

The most notable functional shift is the collapsible heel, which lets the Homescape Woven move between sneaker and slipper. That detail fits the current appetite for shoes that can handle coffee runs, travel days, and light outdoor use without looking like technical gear cosplay. A rugged outsole gives the model more bite than the original Footscape Woven, while the asymmetrical upper keeps it unmistakably Nike.
The Homescape Woven x SOULGOODS is scheduled to release July 11 through Nike SNKRS in select regions. As a collaboration, it occupies a useful middle ground: recognizable enough for Footscape loyalists, but unusual enough to stand apart from the endless retro-runner cycle.
