A higher collar can change a sneaker’s proportions more decisively than another palette. The Kith for Salomon XT-4K Mid raises the partners’ existing silhouette around the ankle while retaining XT-4 tooling, giving their Winter 2026 collaboration a genuinely new shape.

The upper combines mesh underlays and synthetic overlays with a padded collar, Quicklace closure, and heel pull. Kith branding appears across the side panels, heel, tongue, and footbed; UV artwork occupies the medial side. Black, Green Gaze, and Olive Night form one coordinated colorway. Underfoot, a dual-density midsole, Agile Chassis Skeleton, and Contagrip rubber outsole retain the construction’s trail-derived character.

The design develops the partnership’s trail-inspired footwear through a change in cut rather than a wholly new sole. Two returning models provide context for that addition. Ronnie Fieg’s archive-informed XT-VYGR 2 combines TPU and ripstop with heat-melt overlays, a concealed lacing system, and hexagonal camouflage at the toe, in Dark Navy, Dusky Orchid, and Transparent.

The XT-4 OG retains mesh underlays and synthetic reinforcement in Maroon Banner, Nocturne, and Knockout Pink. Their seasonal treatments accompany the Mid rather than constitute separate technical launches.

Following an October 23 debut at Kith Vancouver, the global release is scheduled for October 26 at 11 a.m. regional time through Kith stores, its online store, and app. U.S. prices are $220 for the XT-4K Mid and $200 each for the XT-VYGR 2 and XT-4 OG.
