Recovery slides typically stop at soft foam. The Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide adds targeted heat and vibration, turning familiar post-training footwear into a wearable recovery device.

Developed with Hyperice, the Hyperslide combines a low-profile, full-length Air Zoom sole with removable magnetic pods housed inside its adjustable straps. Each pod directs heat and vibration across the top of the foot, offering three intensity levels for both functions. Heat reaches 117°F, while treatment runs in 15-minute cycles. Settings can be adjusted through controls on the pods or by connecting to the Hyperice app.

The design is a more accessible follow-up to the companies’ wearable recovery boot. Whereas the Hyperboot surrounds the foot and ankle with heat and dynamic air compression, the Hyperslide integrates recovery technology into footwear already common in locker rooms and gym bags. The pods can be removed when only cushioning is needed, leaving the responsive Air Zoom platform to function much like a conventional slide.
That modularity is the product’s strongest idea. Heat and vibration remain available immediately after training, travel, or a long day on foot without requiring a separate wrap or handheld device. It is still considerably more expensive than ordinary recovery footwear, but the technology explains the distinction.
The Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide launches September 29 through Nike, Hyperice, and select retailers worldwide. It is priced at $249.
