Nike recently unveiled the Converse A-Cold-Wall* Aeon Active CX Micro Chip Healing Jade collaboration. A-Cold-Wall’s Samuel Ross’ runner-inspired design leaves the traditional Converse look behind and features an exaggerated heel and Converse CX technology. The laceless design replaces tradition with an asymmetric tongue, orange ankle collar, gray perforated upper, and thick jade green 3D-printed heel piece. Nike says reimagination is at the core of the Converse CX technology, resulting in advances in form, fit, function, and size.
This limited-edition Aeon Active CX features a one-of-a-kind stretch bootie construction and an exaggerated heel kick to make them easy to slip on and no laces needed. Nike says the revolutionary CX foam and Crater midsole foam contain around 12% recycled scraps, reimagined to provide all-day comfort. Additionally, the sneakers’ suede and leather overlays have rounded lines that integrate future-forward design and iconic Converse DNA. Not only that, but bold color combinations, a translucent outsole, and subversive graphic text meld together to create A-Cold-Wall* aesthetic in a convention-breaking silhouette.
