After 120 years in business, RIMOWA knows a thing or two about how to design and construct high-quality, durable luggage. The brand has released its Essential Sleeve Compact, built for urban commuting or 1–2-day trips. With the familiar and iconic RIMOWA design, the new Essential Sleeve offers a more streamlined approach to compact, practical luggage. It features enhanced functionalities like a stage-free telescopic handle and smart solutions such as integrated elastic compression straps and snaps that are safe on fabrics. Part of RIMOWA’s Essential Sleeve Collection, this compact polycarbonate suitcase is designed to fit in most train and airplane luggage compartments.
RIMOWA’s Essential Sleeve Compact features an easy-access front compartment ideal for 13-inch laptops, tablets, and flat-pack essentials like documents and files. Inside, a padded accordion compartment accommodates larger computers up to 16 inches. The interior accordion section can be removed to change it from a business case to a compact carry-on suitcase. With RIMOWA’s multiwheel system users can be assured of effortless maneuverability thanks to the ball-bearing mounted wheels with cushioned axles. As with all RIMOWA luggage, the Essential Sleeve Compact features TSA-approved locks that can be opened by security during airline baggage checks without causing any damage.
