The first-time collaboration between Moncler and RIMOWA brings us the striking Reflection Cabin suitcase. It’s not surprising that any product developed by a luxury Italian fashion house and a renowned luggage manufacturer would be remarkable. The Reflection Cabin carry-on doesn’t disappoint. RIMOWA’s luggage lines are known for their parallel grooves in the surface of the exterior. This signature look was applied to the Reflection Cabin, but they went one step further by encasing the bag with an anodized, ultra-polished aluminum mirrored finish. The mirrored finish appears to be a nod to the lacquered effect found on Moncler’s signature down jackets.
Moncler and RIMOWA’s Reflection Cabin is certainly built for travel, with its hard-wearing plastic multiwheels, black matte handles, telescoping handle and black riveted corners. It weighs only 10 lbs. and sports a TSA-approved lock. The interior of the carry-on is padded nylon with 3 matching quilted nylon pouches to help make packing more organized.
