Most themed pens stop at a new color. The Tactile Turn Roswell treats its extraterrestrial premise as a design brief, replacing the conventional bolt with a miniature titanium flying saucer and engraving a map of the solar system across its polished body.

The Dallas-made seasonal release uses Tactile Turn’s titanium bolt-action platform, finished to a smooth, high-polish surface. UV Cerakote fills the solar-system engraving and the beam motif cut into the titanium pocket clip, with Earth highlighted in green. A green acrylic inlay caps the pen, while the Cerakote accents emit a soft glow under ultraviolet light.

Its custom UFO bolt supplies the central visual joke without compromising the mechanism’s purpose. Cycling the action reveals a Cerakote space pattern beneath it, adding another considered detail to the repetitive motion that makes bolt-action pens appealing.

Roswell comes in a 5.6-inch standard version with a Pilot G2 refill or a 5.1-inch short version using the Parker-style Schmidt EasyFlow 9000. Every order includes a commemorative box, sticker, and alien figurine.

At $149, Roswell sits comfortably within the market for collectible, American-machined everyday-carry tools. The Tactile Turn seasonal collection is scheduled to release the pen on August 25 at noon Central. Tactile Turn has not disclosed a production quantity.
