Road-racing bicycle manufacturer Colnago has unveiled a new series of bikes to commemorate Tadej Pogacar’s victory at the 2021 Tour de France. This new series of racing bikes is called the Colnago V3Rs Capsule Collection. These bikes were inspired by Pogacar and the team he races for, UAE Team Emirates. Beyond creating a high-quality bicycle, the V3Rs Capsule Collection allows enthusiasts to ride the same bike as a Tour de France champion.
The Colnago V3Rs Capsule Collection is made up of three different framesets and liveries. The base of this collection is the Colnago V3R featuring a lightweight monocoque frame. The first livery is yellow-black, similar to the bike used by Pogacar. Next is a white-black with polka-dots inspired by the best climber of the Grande Boucle. Lastly, is a solid white-black painted frame that symbolizes the best youngster of the event. In addition, each V3Rs Capsule Collection bicycle comes with a UAE Team Emirates jersey complete with sponsors and signed by Tadej Pogacar.
Standard equipment on the Colnago V3Rs Capsule Collection bicycle includes the latest and most premium gear. These bikes feature a twelve-speed Campagnolo Super Record Eps Disc groupset, Vittoria Corsa clincher tires, Prologo Scratch M5 Nack saddle, carbon Colnago bottle cage, and Campagnolo Bora Ultra wheels.
