The Extans Akhal Shadow is a limited edition carbon fiber bicycle named after one of the fastest and most expensive horse breeds in the world. Like an Akhal-Teke horse, the Akhal Shadow is designed to be fast and carries a distinctive metallic sheen. The Akhal Shadow’s monocoque carbon frame wears a Volcano black base coat with black chrome plating unique to this special edition package.
Lightweight construction brings the bike’s total weight to less than 21 pounds and comes optioned with premium quality parts to deliver performance and comfort. Moto Reflex flat pedals move the single speed gear transmission from Gates Carbon Drive to turn the Akhal Shadow’s carbon wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires. A Fabric Scoop Pro saddle adds comfort to a smooth ride. Safety comes in the form of Shimano brakes controlled by Paul Component brake levers. Extans will only be producing 99 examples of the black chrome Akhal Shadow with pricing disclosed on application only. We don’t expect the limited inventory to stay in stock for long, so speed is key if you want to ride the Akhal Shadow.
