A fishing rod can become a personal object long before it becomes a collector’s piece. The Orvis Helios F Rosenbauer Edition makes that connection explicit, turning five decades of fly-fishing knowledge into a tightly specified three-piece commemorative collection.

The centerpiece is a 9-foot, 4-weight Helios F built around Tom Rosenbauer’s preferred blank. A cigar-shaped cork grip recalls older Superfine Graphite rods, while PVD-coated nickel-silver hardware frames a stained maple burl reel-seat spacer. Each rod comes with a matching wooden tube made by Wayward Trading Post and a heritage-inspired canvas sack. Only 300 will be made.

The companion signature landing net is built from black walnut and spalted maple, with one of Rosenbauer’s hand-tied Rabbit’s Foot Emerger flies set into the handle. Its clear basket and 34-inch length keep it useful on the water.

The signature fly box is made from burl maple with a magnetic closure, slotted foam interior, and an engraved message. Both pieces are crafted in Pennsylvania.
The rod costs $1,498 and is limited to 300 examples. The net is $498, with just 100 made; the fly box is limited to 300. All three are offered through Orvis while supplies last, with availability varying by item.
