A classic car’s dashboard can be ruined by the wrong stereo upgrade. Pioneer’s Heritage Collection takes the opposite approach, bringing contemporary connectivity into audio hardware that looks at home in an eighties or nineties cabin.

The range opens with two pieces: the SXT-C10PS single-DIN digital media receiver and the TS-X40SXT three-way box speakers. The receiver borrows the appearance of Pioneer’s KEH-era cassette decks, with a rotary volume knob, physical preset buttons, and an amber segmented display. Behind the analog-looking face are Bluetooth connectivity, USB and auxiliary inputs, SiriusXM readiness, and a built-in microphone for calls.

The speakers take their visual cue from the 1984 TS-X60. Dark silver-painted resin enclosures, mesh grilles, and exposed rear-deck placement deliver the period look without demanding cuts in original door panels. Each cabinet houses a 5.25-inch woofer, 2.25-inch midrange driver, and 0.625-inch tweeter. Pioneer specifies 25 watts of nominal power per speaker, with a bass-reflex enclosure and included mounting hardware and cables.

The appeal is preservation rather than disguise: classic controls and familiar shapes can coexist with modern digital sources. The receiver is listed at $499.99 and the speaker pair at $299.99 through Pioneer’s U.S. store. Both are available for preorder, with shipping expected to begin November 2, 2026.
