The LEGO Group and Daft Punk have announced a partnership that will bring the electronic duo’s robot personas into the LEGO universe, with a fan-designed recreation of their Alive 2007 pyramid stage set to become an official LEGO Ideas release. The announcement spans future products, content, and brand experiences rather than a single finished set.

The partnership begins with a short film featuring LEGO minifigure versions of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. Following a holographic red brick through an unfolding digital landscape, the robots eventually arrive at a brick-built console. The soundtrack draws on “Voyager” from Discovery and “Human After All,” connecting the visual treatment to two periods of the duo’s catalog.

The most tangible development comes from the LEGO Ideas community. A Luxembourg-based father-and-son project recreating the pyramid stage first won the 2020 Music to Our Ears challenge before earning 10,000 supporters. That proposal has now been approved to advance as an official set. The fan model is not the final retail design, and LEGO has yet to announce its piece count, price, or launch date.

The choice of the pyramid matters: its illuminated geometry was central to Daft Punk’s 2007 live performances, making it recognizable even without the musicians’ helmets. Translating that stage into bricks gives the collaboration a design-led starting point while acknowledging the fan community that proposed it.

More LEGO and Daft Punk announcements are planned for 2027.
