Downton Abbey has always worked because the grand rooms upstairs are only half the story. The new LEGO Ideas Downton Abbey 21373 preserves that split in 4,711 pieces, recreating the show’s Highclere Castle setting with both aristocratic interiors and the working spaces below stairs.

The model measures roughly 12 inches high, 17.5 inches wide, and 6.5 inches deep. Its upper level contains the dining room, main hall, and library, while the lower floor includes the kitchen, servants’ hall, and Mr. Carson’s office. The top section lifts away for interior access, and smaller references include the servants’ bell board, newspapers carrying the fan designer’s initials, and a heart-shaped tree base.

Thirteen minifigures cover the ensemble cast, from Lord and Lady Grantham to Mary, Edith, Carson, Mrs. Hughes, Bates, Anna, and Daisy. That scale makes it substantially more architectural than the recent Wallace & Gromit Ideas set, while still keeping character-driven details at the center.

The project came through the LEGO Ideas program after reaching 10,000 supporters in three months, giving the set a fan-designed origin rather than a conventional licensed-set brief.

LEGO Insiders get early access October 1. General sales begin October 4 at LEGO Stores and online for $349.99.
