Scale is usually the compromise in a display model. The LEGO Star Wars Executor Super Star Destroyer declines to make it, extending 53.5 inches from bow to engines and becoming the longest brick-built Star Wars set to date.

The 6,130-piece Ultimate Collector Series model recreates Darth Vader’s flagship from The Empire Strikes Back. Controlled inversions change building direction through the center spine and underside, allowing exposed studs and tubes to carry denser surface detail. A built-in stand supports the dagger-shaped hull, while a to-scale Imperial Star Destroyer makes the fictional size difference legible without a paragraph of statistics.

A separate bridge vignette gives the set a human scale. Seven minifigures include Darth Vader and, for the first time in one box, all six bounty hunters from the film: Boba Fett, Dengar, Bossk, IG-88, 4-LOM, and Zuckuss.

The completed model measures 20 inches wide, 7.5 inches high, and more than 11 pounds, so the required shelf is nearly as considered as the build. It is a larger, more architectural proposition than previous LEGO Star Wars display sets.
LEGO opens Insiders access on October 1, with general U.S. availability on October 4. The set costs $799.99; purchases from October 1 through 7 include a Darth Vader lightsaber set while supplies last.
