LEGO’s first Godzilla set makes a minifigure look ankle-high. The new LEGO Ideas Godzilla 21375 translates Legendary’s Monsterverse creature into 5,363 pieces, making it the largest Ideas model yet and a substantial addition to the brand’s character-driven display builds.

Its 27.5-inch height includes the Heat Ray pose, an important distinction for a model that already measures 10.5 inches wide and 15.5 inches long. Scaly surfaces, jagged dorsal fins, and a sweeping tail establish the silhouette, while articulation gives the bulk some expression. The head, arms, legs, and tail move; adjustable shoulders, elbows, wrists, and fingers allow finer changes to its stance.

The mouth contains the most effective transformation. Swapping the tongue for the supplied Heat Ray recreates Godzilla’s upward blast, changing both the model’s outline and its display height. Rather than relying on a surrounding city to communicate scale, the creature itself carries the scene.

The project began with New York fan designer Matthew Esposito, whose submission reached 10,000 supporters before passing the LEGO Ideas review. That community origin connects a large licensed collectible to an individual builder’s interpretation, with the finished design intended for ages 18 and up. Digital instructions in the LEGO Builder app include zoom, rotation, and progress tracking.

LEGO Ideas Godzilla is coming to LEGO Stores and online for $449.99.
