A familiar Jeep silhouette hides an unfamiliar front end—and the important change is underneath. The Jeep Wrangler Scrambler SRT Concept adopts independent front suspension to pursue high-speed desert running, a departure from the Wrangler’s usual solid-axle formula.

Developed with off-road racer Casey Currie, the high-travel setup targets steering precision, wheel control, and stability over rough ground. A trophy-truck-inspired rear axle reinforces that focus on desert performance. The HEMI V8 produces 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque.

The CJ-8 reference is more than a badge. Starting with a Wrangler chassis, Jeep reshaped everything from the A-pillar rearward: longer doors, new rear bodywork, an integrated pickup bed, a revised tailgate, and a structural roll cage change the vehicle’s proportions. The Sharknose front treatment connects that shape to classic Jeep trucks.

Its most useful trick may be behind the front seats. The rear seats clip into floor hooks, rotate 180 degrees, or come out entirely to free the bed for cargo. A spray-applied liner suits that change of duty.

Punk’n orange paint, bronze beadlock wheels, and graphite leather with orange inserts complete the show vehicle. The Scrambler SRT remains a concept and is not available to purchase; final production specifications and timing are unconfirmed.
