The Norton 450 Urban opens a smaller chapter for the British marque, pairing a liquid-cooled 454cc single-cylinder engine with a compact urban format.

The new model produces approximately 33 lb-ft of torque and uses an aluminum frame. Its brief emphasizes responsive, accessible performance, giving Norton a different entry point from the larger machines that have shaped its recent return. An 8-inch TFT touchscreen adds connectivity, although the full feature set has not yet been detailed.

Development combines Norton’s Solihull design and engineering base with TVS teams in Italy and India. The design follows the restrained surfaces and strong proportions of the revived range, translating that vocabulary into a compact urban format. The important change is the combination of engine layout, chassis material, and intended use, rather than a familiar model wearing new trim.

It follows the Manx R and Atlas, whose European deliveries have begun. Norton now counts more than 50 retail locations across 10 markets and is preparing its introduction into the United States as part of a broader international expansion.
Sales of the new single are planned for 2027, with the final production name to follow before launch. A specific U.S. arrival window has not been confirmed.
