Cyberpunk 2077 is the video game 2020 has been waiting for since it was announced in 2019. If you haven’t heard about it or seen the Keanu Reeves internet memes, this is a role-playing video game set in the open-world of Night City in the year 2077. One of the main characters is portrayed by Reeves named Johnny Silverhand. Any video game set in a futuristic GTA-vibe world needs a killer ride to match the lead character’s attitude. CD Projekt Red, the game developers, has recently announced the hero-car that fits the bill, a classic Porsche 911 930 Turbo. It turns out more than one Porsche enthusiast works at CD Projekt Red.
In the game, the Cyberpunk 2077 Porsche 911 930 Turbo retains its original shape with some necessary modifications to keep up with 2077 traffic. CD Projekt Red states the car will be fully drivable in the game and have recreated an original 930 Turbo sound. It is the only non-original vehicle in Cyberpunk 2077’s wide range of futuristic cars and motorcycles. In the real world, Porsche is currently displaying an actual Porsche 911 Turbo dressed as the car in the game at the Porsche Museum until October 22. Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled to be released later this year on November 22 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
