Retro design is most convincing when it preserves an attitude rather than tracing an old silhouette. The Alpine A310 Vision takes that route, translating the original coupe’s low, geometric presence into a one-off study built around modern materials and proportions.

Created for the 55th anniversary of the four-cylinder A310 and the V6 model’s 50th, the concept measures 14.9 feet long, 6.7 feet wide, and only 46.5 inches high. Its aluminum body sits over a black lower structure with an organic treatment informed by Formula 1. A semi-transparent cabin bubble, triangular wheels, and pronounced rear volume echo the 1970s car without reproducing it. At the front, hidden “pop-down” lights emerge from a bend in the bodywork, while an S-duct and central Y-shaped blade pull the eye rearward.

The cabin remains deliberately suggestive rather than production-ready. Organic seats, bold color blocking, and physical controls inspired by hi-fi equipment appear beneath the translucent canopy. Underneath, Alpine uses its new Alpine Performance Platform to explore proportions and aerodynamic solutions for future sports cars.

The architecture also connects the concept to the brand’s earlier electric sports-car experiments, even though no power or performance figures accompany this design study.
The A310 Vision is on display at the 2026 Paris Motor Show. It is an independent creative exploration rather than a production announcement, so pricing, orders, and market availability do not apply.
