Porsche’s Sonderwunsch program has never shied away from unusual commissions, but its latest project may be one of the most playful yet. Created in collaboration with Disney and Pixar to mark the release of Toy Story 5, the collection consists of three bespoke Porsche 911 models inspired by some of the franchise’s most recognizable characters. While the theme may sound whimsical, the execution reflects the same level of craftsmanship typically reserved for the brand’s most exclusive one-off creations.

Leading the collection is a Porsche 911 GT3 RS inspired by Buzz Lightyear. The high-performance sports car wears a hand-painted livery finished in the character’s signature white, green, and purple color palette, transforming the track-focused coupe into a rolling tribute to Pixar’s iconic space ranger. Custom details extend beyond the paintwork, with unique graphics, illuminated trim pieces, and bespoke interior elements reinforcing the theme without overwhelming the underlying design.

The second vehicle, a 911 Targa 4 GTS, draws inspiration from Jessie. Finished in pearl white with red accents and carefully executed embroidery throughout the cabin, the open-top sports car incorporates subtle references to the character’s Western-inspired wardrobe. It also happens to be the most powerful model in the trio, producing 532 horsepower from its twin-turbocharged flat-six engine.

Rounding out the collection is a 911 Carrera T themed around Woody. A denim-inspired blue exterior is paired with a warm brown leather interior, while custom stitching and sheriff-themed details create a character-driven design that remains surprisingly restrained by movie-car standards.

All three vehicles are fully road legal and will be auctioned to benefit Make-A-Wish. More than a marketing exercise, the project serves as a showcase for the capabilities of Porsche’s Sonderwunsch division, demonstrating how the company can transform even the most unconventional concepts into highly detailed, functional automobiles.

The result is a collection that balances nostalgia, craftsmanship, and philanthropy in a way few special projects manage to achieve.
