A small case can still carry a sharply defined silhouette. The WM Brown x Timex Rectangle uses contrasting surface finishes and inclined lugs to give a compact dress watch more visual structure.

WM Brown founder Matt Hranek contributes the classic styling direction, while Timex supplies the watchmaking platform. The 27mm stainless-steel case is brushed vertically across its upper surface and horizontally along the sides. A polished, diamond-cut edge separates those planes, making the geometry more legible without enlarging the watch.

The two-tone dial uses full Arabic numerals, central hour and minute hands, and a small-seconds display. A sundial motif introduces WM Brown’s identity without turning the entire face into a logo. This approach suits the restrained proportions of a rectangular dress watch, where small differences in spacing and finishing carry considerable weight.
Inside is a Miyota 1L40 quartz movement, beneath a mineral crystal. The case is 10mm thick with a 20mm lug width. The gift set includes a steel bracelet with a butterfly deployant clasp and a brown leather strap with a steel buckle. Both use quick-release spring bars.
The choice of quartz keeps attention on the exterior rather than a mechanical movement. Likewise, supplying both fittings changes how the same case is worn without creating two separate watch references around essentially the same design.
The Timex set costs $349, including both the steel bracelet and brown leather strap.
