After a run of rectangular and oval dress watches, another polished Noah and Timex collaboration seemed like the safe bet. The Noah x Timex MK1 Anchor Wa248tch changes course, applying the New York label’s maritime vocabulary to a compact field-watch platform instead.

The stainless steel case measures 36mm across with an 18mm lug width, dimensions that preserve the understated character of Timex’s military-inspired MK1 line. A creamy dial carries applied hour markers and luminous alpha hands, while a small-seconds display at six incorporates the collaboration’s red anchor emblem. An acrylic crystal reinforces the vintage tone, and a laser-engraved Noah logo and anchor mark finish the caseback.

A quartz movement keeps the mechanical proposition straightforward. Two quick-release fabric straps—a navy-and-red striped option and a solid navy alternative—shift the watch between collegiate and utilitarian territory without tools. The result is notably more casual than the pair’s Oval Moon Phase Watch, which leaned into dressier proportions and croc-pattern leather.
The Anchor’s limitations are equally clear. Water resistance is rated to 30 meters, enough for incidental splashes but modest for a watch promoted through sailing, surfing, and fishing references. It looks like a tool watch and borrows the MK1’s practical proportions, but it is better understood as an everyday fashion watch with nautical detailing.
The Noah x Timex MK1 Anchor Watch releases August 27 at 11 a.m. ET through Noah’s website and retail stores. It is priced at $248; neither brand has disclosed the production quantity.
