A skin diver does not need an automatic movement to look convincing. The Bespoke Post x Timex Heritage 66 reaches back to a 1966 Timex design, then keeps the revival pragmatic with quartz power and 200 meters of water resistance.

The 40mm polished stainless-steel case measures 12mm thick and frames a black dial with luminous hands and full hour markers. A date window sits at 3 o’clock, while the aluminum unidirectional bezel tracks elapsed time. Mineral glass covers the dial and a screw-down crown helps secure the case for swimming, snorkeling, and recreational diving.

Bespoke Post’s contribution stays restrained. Its mark appears on the crown, while the caseback carries an engraved skin-diver figure inspired by period advertising. The Timex watch arrives on a bright orange double-layer fabric slip-through strap, with a black HNBR rubber strap included; both use quick-release spring bars.

At 73.3 grams, it also avoids the bulk that often accompanies modern watches borrowing the visual language of vintage divers.
The Japanese quartz movement favors accuracy and low maintenance over mechanical theater, which suits the tool-watch premise. The Heritage 66 is available now for $269.
