A watch dial can tell a story without sacrificing its ability to tell time. The Bell & Ross BR-03 Space Mission turns a miniature cosmic scene into a functional hours-and-minutes display, replacing conventional hands with a rotating Moon and a spacecraft.

The 999-piece limited edition follows the BR-03 Astro introduced in 2025, but changes the mechanics of the visual narrative. A transparent disc printed with Earth and the Moon rotates over a black aventurine backdrop. The Moon indicates the hours, while the nose of a spaceplane points to the minutes. Unlike the earlier Astro, this model dispenses with a separate seconds indication.

The familiar square case measures 41 mm across and 10.6 mm thick, with microblasted black ceramic giving the watch a subdued, instrument-like finish. Inside, the automatic BR-CAL.325 movement provides a 54-hour power reserve. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal and 100-meter water resistance retain practical specifications beneath the playful display. Bell & Ross includes a black rubber strap and an additional black synthetic-fabric option.

The BR-03 collection has long borrowed its geometry from cockpit instruments; here, that language becomes a piece of mechanical illustration.
The Space Mission is priced at $5,200 in the United States, with preorders indicating delivery around mid-November.
