We finally get to see the convertible variant of the limited-edition Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate Volante. First introduced in January, the DBS 770 Ultimate represents the final V12-powered supercar for the brand. In total, Aston Martin plans to produce 300 examples of the DBS 770 Ultimate, and only 199 of them are Volantes.
Whether coupe or convertible, the Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate Volante features a twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V12 rated at 759 horsepower. Exclusive features include 21-inch wheels showcasing a multi-spoke design inspired by the Aston Martin Valkyrie and Victor. Color options for the wheels include satin silver or satin black with an optional diamond-turned finish and bespoke “770 Ultimate” logos.
Buyers have the luxury of personalizing their DBS 770 Ultimate with Q by Aston Martin with tinted carbon fiber, seat inserts, and painted body graphics. In addition, as with many grand touring supercars, the DBS 770 Ultimate Volante comes with a bespoke four-piece luggage set.
It may come as no surprise to learn that all 300 of the Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimates have been sold. However, Aston Martin launched a configurator for us to live out our fantasy of special ordering a limited edition V12 British supercar. Those in the blessed position of waiting for their DBS 770 Ultimate can expect a delivery date in the fall of 2023.
