Casio’s latest mechanical watch makes its case through material rather than complication. The CMK-100 wraps a Japanese-made automatic movement in titanium, with a 38mm diameter and an 11.4mm profile. A broad, flat-topped bezel gives the modest dimensions some visual weight without requiring a heavy steel case.

Practical details carry the design. Sapphire crystal covers a textured dial, while a screw-down crown and screw-back construction support 100-meter water resistance.

Ion plating and titanium-carbide coating add abrasion resistance to the exterior. Large Arabic numerals build up layers of luminous paint above the matte surface, giving the three-hand-and-date display a clear hierarchy.

It is familiar field-watch territory, interpreted through Casio’s expanding mechanical lineup. The point is easy reading and everyday wear, with the titanium construction doing more of the work than decorative flourishes. A knurled crown offers a tactile detail where it matters.
Five versions spread the idea across nylon, leather and titanium bands. The black-nylon CMK100TC-1A starts at $330; gray nylon and black leather versions cost $350, brown leather is $375, and the titanium-bracelet model reaches $440. U.S. availability is scheduled for November through select retailers and Casio.
