KITH and New Balance have collaborated with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation to create a special edition of the New Balance Made in USA 998, celebrating the 35th anniversary of the popular sneaker silhouette. The New Balance Made in USA 998 – Broadacre City is inspired by the architectural sketches of Broadacre City, a futuristic city concept created by the legendary architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

The shoe features a classic mesh upper, complemented by pigskin suede and hairy suede overlay panels, which add a varied sense of texture to the design. The sneaker is available in two unique colorways, featuring creamy white, earthy brick red, warm apricot, and olive green, which were pulled from the sketches and models of Wright’s futuristic city concept.

The campaign for the KITH x New Balance collaboration was shot on location at Taliesin West in Scottsdale, Arizona, the headquarters of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. The shoot featured Taliesin West staff members, adding a personal touch to the project.

To get your hands on one of the exclusive sneakers, you need to download the KITH app and register for the drawing, which opens today, April 14, and closes on April 16. Winners will be selected and charged for the pair they selected on April 17.

If you’re lucky enough to be in Scottsdale, Arizona, you can visit Taliesin West for an early release of the sneakers on April 15. Any remaining units will be available to purchase at the gift shop after 12 PM MST. The KITH x Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation x New Balance 998 sneakers are a unique addition to the world of fashion and architecture, showcasing the power of collaboration and inspiration.
