On August 10th, Nike will release its new Nike Spark Flyknit, one of the brand’s latest experimental runners. Nike has incorporated three Flyknit components in different areas of this shoe. At the tongue, seamless engineering has created soft padding and an adjustable fit. The vamp is soft, with a highly secure fit. And finally, the heel is built with a clip for containment and cushioning. The result is an upper that keeps your foot feeling comfortable and stable while you pound the pavement.
The namesake is drawn from the “Spark” cushioning housed within the layered midsole unit (firm foam, plastic plate, and soft foam), which is perfectly complemented by a Flyknit bootie style upper that has similar air to the ISPA line. This new Spark Flyknit has surfaced in various shades of purple, creating a soft lavender look to the sneaker. The branding pops in volt green while a white midsole sits atop a blue outsole. A purplish-brown tone hits the laces, heel, and plate of the sole. The Nike Spark Flyknit will be available for $185 starting at 7 AM on August 10th.
