With a sharp new MagSafe charging option, Native Union is launching its new Rise Dock. This uniquely minimalist metal design works with Apple’s MagSafe charger to provide one-handed detachment for the iPhone 12 and more. MagSafe charging has been expanding throughout the market within the last few months and the Native Union Rise Dock is a unique take on the category. A Native Union rep explained why the company created the Rise Dock: “With every innovation in the consumer tech space, we get to work crafting solutions that can enhance interactions with that new technology. Rise Dock | MagSafe Compatible maximizes MagSafe’s effortless magnetic connection and makes it even more convenient for everyday use with optimized viewing angle while charging, inspired by our signature Dock Wireless Charger.”
The Rise Dock allows for charging options of either landscape or portrait and is a clean, solid metal design in black. Weighing in at just under one pound and with its non-slip base, the Rise Dock is sturdy enough for “effortless one-hand detachment.” It is important to note that Apple’s MagSafe charger is not included in the purchase of the Native Union Rise Dock. However, for those in the market for a clean sharp MagSafe dock with a 15W capacity charging output, the Rise Dock is a great option.
