Jordan Brand’s Spring 2022 Retro Line commemorates MJ’s competitive spirit and excellence for a new generation of fans. The year 2022 marks the 25th anniversary of Air Jordan XII. To that end, the brand is celebrating the original playoff colorway in its OG specs, including the leather upper, mudguard, and carbon fiber shank plate with the new Jordan Brand’s Spring 2022 Retro Line. Each detail pays homage to the shoe’s debut in Cleveland in 1997 on All-Star Weekend. Not only that but Jordan Brand’s Retro Line combines a host of fresh expressions in classic silhouettes. And this latest release boasts sustainable materials.
NIKE releases innovative takes on upper patterns, constructions, and materials each season. For example, this season’s Air Jordan IV experiments with a canvas upper, topping a soft blue tie-dye print. NIKE says its innovative legacy shoe models result from the company’s philosophy of deep, multifaceted intention and teamwork. To that end, each launch connects within the brand’s history, creating a sense of curiosity for fans. Jordan Brand’s Spring 2022 Retro Line will be released in Cleveland, February 2022 at the NBA All-Star Game.
