One of the problems people face when out and about in crowded, noisy places is trying to hear their music, podcasts, games, or a conversation on their smartphone. To address this problem, the new 2021 Razer Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds just debuted. Their 60ms low-latency connection Gaming Mode will make it appealing to people who do not want to sacrifice sound quality when playing — especially when talking to opponents during a game. The fact that they weigh just 53 grams makes them quite suitable for extended sessions.
And for added sound quality, the earbuds use Active Noise Cancellation or ANC technology. The frequency response of Razer’s new offering ranges from 20 Hz to 20kHz. There is no cable to attach, as the earbuds connect only wirelessly with devices via Bluetooth. Its microphone pickup pattern is omnidirectional. Users control the headphones with an app (available for iOS and Android devices).
Users can enjoy these earbuds for 6.5h hours when fully charged, while the case itself provides another 26 hours of charging power, for up to 4 charging sessions. Those statistics are based on using Razer’s earbuds with an iOS device set to 50% volume. Being able to play audio for more than an entire day makes this an appealing bit of kit to those who find themselves away from a reliable charging station, such as while camping this summer.
