Earlier this month, IMBOLDN produced an article that teased a peek at the soon-to-be-released Nothing Ear (2) earbuds. Now that the earbuds have been released, we can report on all the latest from Nothing, the London-based consumer electronics company.

Nothing has officially launched the Ear (2) earbuds, which it describes as “a mighty refinement”. The earbuds are ultra-light at just 4.5 grams, making them comfortable to wear for long periods. They are also powerful, featuring an 11.6 mm custom driver, and are 24bit Hi-Res Audio Certified, ensuring playback that reveals every detail of the music.

The Nothing Ear (2) earbuds also have advanced noise-cancellation capabilities, which are easily accessible via the Nothing X app on iOS and Android. The Ear (2) earbuds also come with next-level active noise cancellation (ANC) capabilities, which can block out up to 40 dB of external noise. You can switch between three levels of ANC or let Ear (2) take control with its Adaptive Mode, which detects distractions in your environment and adjusts the intensity of noise cancellation accordingly.

Additionally, Nothing’s new earbuds also have a Personal Sound Profile that adjusts the equalizer in real time so that content is optimized just for you.  This feature tailors the sound to your specific hearing capabilities, ensuring that you’re getting the most out of your listening experience.

The Ear (2) can also stay connected to multiple devices simultaneously with Dual Connection, and for clearer calls, the Clear Voice Technology has been improved to make it even smarter. The Ear (2) sells for $149 and comes in a charging case made with a stronger, pressure-resistant material for a premium feel. The earbuds are available for purchase on Nothing’s website.
