In a playful meeting of haute horology and sneaker culture, Swiss watchmaker H. Moser & Cie and sportswear brand Reebok have collaborated on the limited‑edition Streamliner Pump watch. Each version – one with a black forged quartz fibre case and another in a moiré‑patterned quartz composite – is limited to just 250 pieces.

The centrepiece is a mechanical pump mechanism inspired by Reebok’s 1989 Pump basketball shoe. An orange anodised aluminium pusher protruding at 10 o’clock compresses a miniature bellows; with each press the bellows winds the hand‑wound calibre HMC 103, delivering more than an hour of power and causing a gradient disc on the dial to fill, acting as a power‑reserve indicator.

The 40‑millimetre case is sheathed in a titanium ‘sarcophagus’ that provides water‑resistance to 10 ATM. A moiré pattern in the forged quartz fibre creates iridescent swirls under light, while the integrated black rubber strap recalls the ridges of Reebok’s original Pump.

Inside ticks the hand‑wound calibre HMC 103, a movement with a 74‑hour power reserve and three‑hertz balance frequency. The watch is topped with a sapphire crystal and features no branding on the dial, save for a subtle Moser wordmark.
Beyond novelty, the Streamliner Pump demonstrates how independent watchmakers are experimenting with materials and mechanics to broaden appeal. It bridges high watchmaking and streetwear nostalgia without resorting to gimmicks: the pump is functional, not decorative.
Collectors who miss out on the 250 pieces may find the collaboration a sign of more unconventional projects to come from Schaffhausen’s most irreverent brand.
