IWC Schaffhausen has unveiled the latest Laureus Sport for Good limited edition: the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Laureus. Limited to just 1,000 pieces, the watch pairs the brand’s aviation heritage with a philanthropic mission.

The 43‑millimetre stainless‑steel case houses a Laureus‑blue dial whose crisp Arabic numerals, day‑date display and three silver subdials recall the classic pilot’s chronograph layout. At the heart of the watch is the in‑house calibre 69385, a column‑wheel movement with a 46‑hour power reserve and bi‑directional pawl winding. It beats at 28,800 vph and features Côtes de Genève decoration visible through the sapphire case back.

Beyond its mechanical credentials, the piece marks IWC’s 18th collaboration with Laureus Sport for Good, a global charity that uses sport to empower young people facing adversity. Engraved on the case back is a drawing from a participant in the Futbalo Girls program in Mexico, selected from a drawing competition.
Part of the proceeds will support the program, underscoring how luxury watchmaking can foster social impact. The watch is paired with a stainless‑steel bracelet featuring the quick‑change system, allowing owners to swap to a leather or fabric strap without tools. Water resistance is 100 meters, and the soft‑iron inner case protects against magnetic fields.
With its restrained Laureus colour palette and robust in‑house movement, the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Laureus captures IWC’s design language while reminding collectors that timekeeping can be a platform for change. In a market awash with limited editions, the combination of engineering, heritage and genuine charitable support makes this release stand apart.
