Teaming up with online retailer Huckberry and Kentucky whiskey distillery Buffalo Trace, 139-year-old-boot and clothing brand Wolverine has created a special edition boot dubbed the Huckberry x Buffalo Trace 1000 Mile Boot. The boots were designed in Michigan and handmade in Arkansas, and are only available through Huckberry. The boots come with unique details that symbolize the heritage and quality of each brand. The “Wolverine 1000 Mile” gold foil stamp appears on the collar, the Buffalo Trace logo gold foil stamp on the tongue, and Huckberry’s tree icon is stamped on the back heel. According to Scott Schoessel, vice president of global marketing at Wolverine, “These boots exemplify the heritage and quality for which our brands are known. Through the design process, our team added brand-specific details with care. National Bourbon Heritage Month is the perfect opportunity for us to celebrate these boots with our customers.”
The Huckberry x Buffalo Trace 1000 Mile Boot uppers are constructed with premium English Dublin Tan rich, bourbon-hued leather sourced from the Horween Leather Company. Suitable for both work and leisure, the 1000 Mile Boot will serve wearers for many years to come. Meticulously crafted by hand, with Goodyear Welt construction that is durable and flexible, these boots can be resoled time and again. Featuring two sets of laces that are included – flat waxed cotton and rawhide laces – the boots boast classic yet comfortable rubber wedge outsoles from Sullivan, Missouri. Meanwhile, antique brass eyelets and pull loop hardware add a rugged touch to this classic silhouette.
