Aviation American Gin is the latest distillery to get in on the literal action, with its newly released drink marking the release of Marvel’s latest blockbuster, Deadpool & Wolverine. Available in six limited edition bottle variants, the gin is inspired by the upcoming comic book movie starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. This release looks set to revive Marvel Studios’ ailing fortunes after a series of box-office disappointments.
Ryan Reynolds has backed the Aviation American Gin releases, produced using the company’s proprietary maceration recipe for a complex medley of botanical flavors. Infused with cardamon and coriander, combined with French lavender, anise seed, and additional fruity notes, the gin distillate is formed with the purest available water.
Blending and bottling are also performed in-house using a bespoke blending tank to bring the gin to the desired 84-proof and ready for bottling. The finished gin promises to deliver a heady blend of fruits, whether used in a simple gin and tonic or one of the brand’s recommended cocktails.
