Aigle is best known for rubber boots, but its new footwear push is aimed beyond wet fields. The Aigle Flowlite is the most technical expression of the brand’s Lifeproof program, combining trail-running hardware with a restrained urban silhouette.

At 310 grams, the shoe uses an abrasion-resistant breathable upper with a protective toe bumper and heel reinforcement. ENRGCORE cushioning uses supercritical PEBA-infused foam for rebound and long-duration comfort, while a TECHNISUPPORT plate adds torsional stability.

A DURACOMP rubber outsole supplies traction for light trails, and quick lacing distributes tension across the upper. The result sits in the same urban-to-trail territory as products such as the Tropicfeel Zenda, but with a more minimal visual treatment.

Aigle is treating footwear as a distinct technical category under Chris Kyvetos, centering the effort on function, technical design, and cultural relevance rather than simply extending its boot business. Aigle currently lists the Flowlite in multiple colorways at $230. The broader Lifeproof range also includes Tenere walking shoes and Gore-Tex options.
