Sony has unveiled the Astro Bot Limited-Edition Wireless Controller, set to enhance your gaming experience with a supersized adventure alongside Astro. This new controller, designed by Team Asobi, features Astro’s signature blue accents on the handles and buttons, sci-fi lines, and the playful pair of eyes on the touchpad, turning it into a living character that aids Astro on his mission.
Pre-orders for this exciting addition to the PlayStation lineup begin on August 9 at 7 am PT in the U.S. and 10 am local time in the U.K., France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Austria, and Portugal. The controller will also be available through select retailers in other global markets on the same day, priced at $80.
The Astro Bot Limited Edition DualSense controller offers an immersive gaming experience. Players will feel the surfaces Astro interacts with, from grass and sand to metal and water. The adaptive triggers combined with haptic feedback provide dynamic sensations, such as the thruster of the Barkster Jetpack ratting against your finger, enhancing the game’s realism.
