Combining their experiences derived from years of traveling around the world, CHAOS co-founders — Katie Lyall and Charlotte Stockdale — have partnered with the luggage experts at RIMOWA to launch their very own collaborative line. According to the London-based CHAOS co-founders, RIMOWA is “well acquainted with what we love and hate when it comes to traveling with hand luggage on trains, planes, boats, and in cars.” Their own experiences helped them to form the RIMOWA X CHAOS Collaboration, a limited line of a suitcase and travel accessories.
The collaboration includes RIMOWA’s Essential Cabin suitcase, luggage harness, luggage tag, luggage charms, and decorative stickers. The RIMOWA Essential Cabin suitcase with its iconic ribbed case has CHAOS adding a bold graphic of paint dripping down the suitcase’s exterior for a fun, playful touch — a feeling that exemplifies this entire collaborative collection. The idea was to meld the rigidity of the signature Rimowa suitcase with something more “fluid” and reflective of the Chaos flair for mashing together bright colors and patterns. One iteration comes in “Saffron Yellow” and “White,” while the other sports shades of “Cactus Green” and “Black.” Attached to each luggage piece is a co-branded leather luggage tag embossed with a globe. Other standouts include the luggage harness made out of high-quality satin nylon, which can be used to safely store travel essentials. Add more elements to your suitcase with the leather luggage tags and charms, available in the shape of a fried egg, green apple, and a “chill pill.” The RIMOWA x CHAOS Collaboration will be available to purchase starting June 3rd.
