For its latest offering in the brand’s Artist Series, the James Brand commissioned artist and professional skateboarder, Sebo Walker, to create the James Brand × Sebo Walker Artist Series Duval. Born in Salem, but now based in Portland, Oregon, Sebastian “Sebo” Walker is best known for his colorful artwork, his overall positive outlook on life, and his commitment to his family. James Brand chose Walker for this collaboration because they have always been inspired by his typical bright and colorful artwork, which shines through in this limited edition pocket knife.
Each knife includes the same specs as the standard Duval model, the brand’s first and only front flipper, with the added flair of the artwork on the casing. The Duval features an open length of 6.4-inches and a 2.6-inch closed length. The Duval uses an American-made Crucible s35vn stainless blade steel and has a frame of 6al4v titanium. The modified sheepsfoot blade shape is as useful as it is beautiful. No two knives within the collection of 50 are exactly the same as the James Brand took different parts of the digitized art to form each individual knife. In fact, the artwork is even different on each side of each knife. The James Brand × Sebo Walker Artist Series Duval comes with a set of signed and numbered prints of the original piece of artwork used to create the 50 knives.
