The James Brand just dropped the new Bright Collection featuring six utility tools and three every day carries with brightly colored details. First are three utility knives—the Palmer, Ellis, and Elko— now available in a range of colorful options. The Palmer offers all the functionality of a classic utility knife with a refined design and mechanism enabling tool-free blade changes.

The company says the Palmer’s anodized aluminum handles, buttery smooth action, and lanyard bridge the gap between practical design, an everyday carry, and a lifestyle accessory. The James Brand has added scissors to the Ellis along with an updated construction with a slip-joint design. There’s also a new deep-carry wire clip, scraper, pry tool, and flat-head screwdriver with a stainless-steel blade. Similarly, the Elko provides a pry bar/ key ring, screwdriver, bottle opener, and a compact stainless-steel blade.

The Mehlville is the brand’s answer to the carabiner with dual compartment construction and machined billet design for extra strength. Next, The James Brand says the Hardin is their new drop-forged carabiner with 6063 aluminum, a spring-loaded gate, and a two-compartment design. There’s even a compact pen, called The Stilwell, in this collection.

But the heart of the Bright Collection is The James Brand’s outdoor-focused knives. The compact Redstone, a lightweight outdoor knife with superior grip – the Carter, boasting a slide-lock mechanism, VG-10 stainless steel blade, and reversible pocket clip – and the Folsom, with slim scales, steel liner-lock, ambidextrous blade opening slot, and reversible clip. The Bright Collection – The James Brand is available online on the company website with prices starting at $39.
