The most considered screen on a wearable may be no screen at all. Garmin has stripped the glanceable clutter from its newest tracker, leaving health data to surface when it is useful rather than every time a wrist turns.

The CIRQA Smart Band is Garmin’s first screen-free band, built around a soft fabric strap that can sit on the wrist or upper arm. It records heart rate, Pulse Ox, stress, skin temperature, sleep stages, HRV status, respiration, and naps, then folds those signals into Body Battery and training-readiness scores.

More than 80 activity profiles are supported, with automatic detection for everyday workouts and adaptive tracking that can recognize movement without an elaborate preflight routine.

The restraint is functional. With no display to power, CIRQA runs for up to 10 days and leaves mapping to Connected GPS on a paired phone. VO2 max, recovery time, and LiveTrack extend its reach beyond basic wellness, positioning it alongside screenless performance wearables without adopting their recurring fees. The woven construction also reads less like a miniature phone and more like equipment meant to disappear under a cuff.
The Garmin CIRQA Smart Band is available now in the United States for $199.99, with no subscription required.
