You may remember the Deadpool 2 trailer that was released a year ago — which informed us that the actual movie was to be released “not soon enough” — and a second trailer in which Ryan Reynold’s Merc with a Mouth was hilariously impersonating Bob Ross. Fans were excited to see that Deadpool’s final painting in the second trailer featured Cable, the cybernetic mutant soldier from the future and a part of the X-Men and the X-Force.
Cable (played by Josh Brolin) receives more screen time in this trailer, and we’re excited to see how he will interact with Deadpool and some of the other characters like Colossus (Stefan Kapičić), Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), and the newly introduced Domino (Zazie Beetz). Expect to see a lot of characteristic fourth-wall-breaking, profanity, and vulgar humor in the R-rated superhero flick, for which the first Deadpool film paved the way in Hollywood. The cheeky Deadpool 2 will be in theaters May 18.
