A leading force in electro-acoustic design and manufacturing since its first phonograph cartridge in 1962, the Japanese audio equipment producer Audio-Technica has spearheaded a number of industry innovations over the years. The new Audio-Technica ATH-DSR5BT Wireless In-Ear Headphones are poised to continue this tradition, making a big splash at the CES 2018.

The first in-ear headphone model to employ Audio-Technica’s Pure Digital Drive system, the ATH-DSR5BT incorporates a state-of-the-art A-T chipset to control driver amplitude directly with digital signals. By skipping the usual process of digital-to-analog conversion, these headphones produce significantly less distortion for a far purer sound. The ATH-DSR5BT’s unique push and pull driver system stands out as another inventive way to boost overall sound quality. Facing off against each other, the headphones’ asymmetrically sized, duel phase drivers generate a crystal-clear reproduction of recorded materials.

To facilitate hands-free voice communication, the ATH-DSR5BT features a built-in polar pattern omnidirectional microphone. Both headphones and microphone are connected to a newly designed ergonomic neckband that conveniently positions controls for volume and music/video playback. For maximum comfort, the ATH-DSR5BT can be ordered with silicone eartips in four sizes. All units sold come complete with a USB charging cable and a convenient carrying case.
