Swedish automaker Polestar has partnered with fellow Swedish bicycle builder Allebike to create a two-wheeled limited-edition model called the Alpha Polestar Edition Snow. It is a full-suspension mountain bike that combines the elegant minimalist style of Polestar with Allebike’s world-class cycling technology. This collaboration is just one of several of Polestar’s efforts to showcase that it is more than an EV automaker. Moreover, only 100 examples of the Allebike Alpha Polestar Edition Snow will be available.
The Alpha Polestar Edition bicycle is built using a rigid carbon-fiber frame reinforced with polymer to create a lightweight and durable bike frame. It features a uniquely tuned suspension by Ohlins designed to tackle rough terrain and everyday commuting. The bike’s Ohlins gold painted dampers provide up to 130mm of travel at the rear and 120mm at the front. The bike’s seat tube is angled at 75 degrees for optimal performance and comfort during high-speed runs. In addition, the Alpha Polestar rolls on a set of Pirelli SCORPION XC-S Pro tires. The bike is purchased through Allebike and is available in one of two matte-finish metallic color options: Space and Snow. These color options coordinate with colors available on Polestar production cars.
