As a way of reaffirming its support of Keven Pieterson and the SORAI (Save Our Rhino Africa India), Hublot is issuing a second limited release timepiece dubbed the 2021 Hublot Big Bang Unico SORAI. Hublot will donate a portion of the sales of this model to CARE for Wild, which is the largest rhino sanctuary in the world and is supported by SORAI. According to Ricardo Guadalupe, Hublot CEO, the cause is near and dear to the brand’s heart as they feel it is a privilege and a duty to give back. He said the following about the donations and the commitment to giving to causes such as SORAI: It is our duty to amplify the voice of those who work on the ground to protect endangered species, particularly the African rhino which is in critical danger of extinction.”

The limited-edition 45mm timepiece, sporting a green ceramic case on a camouflage rubber or green velcro strap, pays homage to the colors of the South African bush in summer. It has a matte green skeletonized dial exposing the Hublot MHUB1242 UNICO manufacture self-winding chronograph flyback movement. Water-resistant to 100 meters with a power reserve of 72 hours, the Big Bang Unico SORAI will be limited to just 100 pieces.
