Sennheiser has announced the upcoming release of its new CX True Wireless earbuds. This latest release replaces the impressive CX 400BT buds released last fall. The CX True Wireless earbuds are among the first to use Bluetooth 5.2 firmware, which leaves the door open for LE Audio and LC3 codec support. Users can enjoy consistent, high-quality audio no matter their source device because these earphones support SBC, AAC, and aptX. In addition, Bluetooth 5.2 further improves power efficiency, contributing to the earphones’ battery life. The Sennheiser CX True Wireless earbuds have a battery life of up to nine hours at moderate volume levels (the charging case stores an additional three charges) versus seven hours for the previous model.

The CX True wireless earbuds are splash-proof, with an IPX4 water-resistance rating. Their high-level sound quality is thanks to the technologically advanced TrueResponse transducer, which was designed and manufactured at Sennheiser’s headquarters in Germany. It was developed especially for the brand’s premium earphones and provides deep basses, natural mids, and clear detailed treble. The listening experience is made even better by the Sennheiser Smart Control App that allows users to tailor their listening experience, giving them the option to enhance a phone call, notch up the intensity of a favorite song, and more. The app also allows effortless Bluetooth compatibility and management of all connections. The Sennheiser CX True Wireless earbuds are perfectly balanced with ergonomic comfort and all-day use in mind.
