RIMOWA, the German Maison celebrated for its iconic luggage, introduces the latest masterpiece – the RIMOWA Distinct Suitcase Collection. Drawing inspiration from its storied past, this new line marvels in leather, echoing the Maison’s early days.
The RIMOWA Distinct showcases an innovative leather wrapping technique, ensuring the suitcase retains its shape while flaunting the brand’s signature grooves. In a groundbreaking move, RIMOWA premiered the collection at the esteemed Musée Soulages in Rodez, France, honoring the works of Pierre Soulages, a legend known for his unique play of black hues and intricate textures. Much like the depth found in Soulages’s pieces, RIMOWA’s iconic grooves shine with new texture and reflectivity, symbolizing shared craftsmanship values.
Launching on November 2nd, the RIMOWA Distinct Cabin suitcases are available in two refined colors: Black and Navy. Priced at $3,300, these leather and anodized aluminum wonders promise an elevated travel experience. With features including RIMOWA’s recognizable grooves, resilient aluminum corners, rear protective bumpers, and a plush jacquard monogram interior, they seamlessly blend sophistication with durability.
Travelers can expect functionality paired with elegance: a stage-free telescopic handle, leather handles, the RIMOWA Multiwheel® system, and an organized interior with a flex divider, zipped compartment, and flat-bottomed packing area. As a nod to personalization, each suitcase comes with a complimentary leather luggage tag, all masterfully crafted in Germany.
