The iconic Swiss watchmaking brand Richard Mille formed a long-term partnership with Ferrari in 2021. The new Richard Mille RM UP-01 Ferrari symbolizes the partnership’s success, which both sides believed was inevitable. Ferrari and Richard Mille are two companies obsessed with perfectionism, precision, and innovation.

The RM UP-01 Ferrari is as sporty and performance-driven as a world-class sports car. This ultra-thin timepiece is just 1.75 millimeters thick, yet it is more technical and reliable than watches double its size. However, creating the RM UP-01 Ferrari wasn’t a walk in the park. It took more than 6,000 hours of R&D and numerous prototypes. The result is an ultra-thin manual winding movement watch with skeletonized bridges and a baseplate made of grade 5 titanium. The custom baseplate ensures total shock resistance, and the titanium construction is lightweight yet incredibly durable.

The unrivaled style of the Richard Mille RM UP-01 Ferrari took just as long to perfect as the mechanics. Ferrari’s famed prancing horse logo and all case references are laser engraved. The manual winding movement features a function selector that can withstand an acceleration of more than 5,000 G’s. The watch’s sleek lines are reminiscent of a Ferrari sports car, and the attention to detail is something both brands bring to the partnership. Each Richard Mille RM UP-01 Ferrari is just one of 150 units made.
